Dear Dancers and friends!!

The 7th international belly dance festival will be held from January 5th till January 8th 2011 in Eilat.

 A VIP welcome party and dinner will be thrown on January 5th, the day of the arrival of our participants from abroad.

Where is the festival?
The festival will be held in the city of Eilat, a resort on the Red Sea, across the borders of Egypt and Jordan. The hotel is The Club Hotel suites resort, and the accommodation is in large suites, that have a kitchen and two rooms in each suite, so you can have plenty of space! The suite accommodates up to 3 people. The hotel has restaurants, a coffee bar, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a SPA, swimming pools and it is situated right across the largest shopping mall of Eilat, the beach and the tourist hot spots.

What is this festival about?

We have a full program of over 40 workshops for all levels of dancers, shows, haflas with live music, open stage, competition, relaxation place for yoga and stretching, Bedouin tent with live music and a lot of fun, fun and more fun......

It's an all-inclusive event - the hotel, the food, the drinks, all the classes, the shows, the parties, the competition ...  are all in one price of $520 or 400euro. The price is for 3 nights from Wednesday the 5th until Saturday the 8th of January.

Who are the teachers?
Our headliners are Ashraf Hassan (Egypt), Alexey Riboshabka and Alla Kushnir (Ukraine), Serkan Tutar (Turkey), Nawara (Morrocco), Lolie, Sharon and Ihlan (France),Nazharit Layali (Venezuela) and from Israel Asi Haskal and me- Orit Maftsir , Yael Moav and more Israeli teachers!!!

Classes will be held all over the hotel- including on the pool deck, in the lobby and in the theater, as well as in formal convention halls. Different styles of oriental dance, folklore and contemporary fusion for all levels of dancers.

What is in the program for the 4 days?
January 5th - arrival, VIP dinner party with teachers and guests. We arrange a "belly-flight" from the international airport to Eilat at 18:30; you can book it in the registration form.

January 6th - bonus workshops  at 10:00 am only for the guests from  abroad who arrived at January 5th, and then a full day of workshops and shows from 15:00 till late night

January 7th - full day of activities, again until late night

January 8th - festival ends at 16:30 pm with a farewell party. The guests can either fly back home, or stay an extra night, or go sight seeing in Israel or Jordan.


Can friends and husbands join the festival?
Off course they can- they can enjoy a great vacation in the sunny city of Eilat, attend the shows and the parties, relax in the hotel pool or scuba-dive in the Red Sea... Тhe only thing you should know is that it would be the same  price for them, since once you are in the festival village, you can choose freely where to go and what to do- you can sit in the sun all day, or take 5 workshops, it's up to you and it's all under the same roof and for the same price.

How to arrive?
You can arrive by a bus or a flight from the international Ben Gurion airport. You can also arrive from Cairo or Jordan if you plan a tour.
Make sure to book your international ticket to Israel on Wednesday morning, because the "belly-flight" to Eilat leaves at 18:30 from the same airport, but you need to be one hour before  in the terminal. Our staff will be waiting for you at the terminal of the domestic flight to Eilat.

Once the festival finishes  on Saturday night, everyone are flying or traveling back , and it's a good opportunity to do some sight-seeing: continue the tour to the Dead Sea which is only 2 hours by drive  from Eilat, or to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, enjoying  January low-season prices

How to register?
Registering is easy- send the registration form to the e-mail oritmaf@013.net – fill in all the details in the form, and if there are any questions contact me personally at the above e-mail address. The registration form will be uploaded on the website on august 15th, or could be sent to you by e-mail.

How much does the festival cost?
Early bird prices last until November 30.
The price is 400 euro/$520  for the whole festival. The price may increase to 410 Euros /$535, if the Euro or the USD will depreciate against the local currency. Book early to guarantee the low rate. The price includes 3 nights in the hotel, half board (breakfast and dinner) and light snacks for lunch, free hot drinks (coffee and tea) and water and an alcoholic beverage for the shows, all the workshops, the shows, the participation in the competition or the open stage.
As of December 1st  the prices will go up to 430euro /$560.


The above price does not include flights to Eilat, an extra night from Saturday to Sunday.
The price is per person in a double suite - so when you register write down who will share the room with you, otherwise we will match a roommate for you. It’s possible to book a single suite as well.

Rates of the domestic flights: the "Belly flight" on January 5 at 18:30- only 50 euro/ $65, the flight back on Sunday January 9 -55 euro, the flight on Saturday night from Еilat to the airport - 65 euro/$85.

Extra night in the hotel from Saturday to Sunday - 90 euro or 120$
The price of the festival package for 2 nights and 3 days- January 6-7-8 is 320 euro / $410 for early bird registration.
As of December 1st the price will go up to 350 euro/$450

How much does the festival cost if I stay in another hotel?

The full program will cost only 190 euro, not including the hotel and the meals, so if you stay in another place you can register in the form for "festival only" and you will get the entrance pass when you arrive on Thursday to the formal opening.

How to pay?
You can pay by credit card, the payment could be divided into 3 installments. Cash payment could be arranged on the day of arrival only with a personal approval from me. If you arrange a group- please coordinate with me the payment details. It is always better to pay before the event starts.
For those who stay in another hotel and come only for the festival, without checking in our hotel- you can pay in cash.
